Richard Grahn New President of Fundraising Association
Benefitting the First National Coast Guard Museum Project
NEW LONDON, Conn., (March 31, 2015) – At a meeting of the Board of Directors of the National Coast Guard Museum Association Inc. on March 11, 2015 in New Orleans, Louisiana the board unanimously voted on changes to the Board structure. Effective immediately, Richard J. Grahn will serve as President and CEO, Cathy Cook will serve as Secretary and Susan Curtin has been added as a member at large. The remainder of the officers will stay the same, as James J. Coleman, Jr. continues to serve as Chairman and John S. Johnson as Treasurer.
“I am passionate about building the first National Coast Guard Museum and am honored to have been trusted with this important leadership role,” stated Richard Grahn as he accepted the appointment of President of the National Coast Guard Museum Association, Inc. Grahn is a litigation attorney in Boston, Massachusetts.
Susan Curtin was added to the Board of Directors as a member at large. Ms. Curtin is currently the managing director of the Kenrose Kitchen Table Foundation, which is the J.D. Power family foundation, headquartered in Westlake Village, California. She has served as a third-class petty officer in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve.
